How to grow a carrot tree
Materials: a carrot top, a small container, a jug of water.
Steps:
1 Cut the carrot top.
2 Put the carrot top on a small container.
3 Put some water on the container.
4 Put the container with the carrot top on the window sill where the sun shines.
5 Watch it grow. Did it work?How can you tell?.

how to plant a seed
How to plant a seed
L.I.-W.A.L.T.-write instruction in order.
Success Criteria:I know I can do this when I can write instruction in order how to plant a seed and using action words at the beginning of each sentence.
Materials:
yoghurt pots, sheep fertilizer ,watering cans, seed, soil, water,
Steps:
1. Punch holes in the yoghurt container.
2. Write your name on the sticky paper.
3. Put the sticky on the yoghurt container.
4. Put soil in the container.
5. Make a hole in the soil using your pointy finger.
6. Then get a seed and put it in the hole.
7. Cover the hole with soil.
8. Water the seed.
9. Leave it in the sun to grow.

Rippa Rugby
Steps:
1. Warm ups: Running, jogging
2. Grab a sticky belt.
3. Get two tags, that are yellow or green, and stick them on the sticky belt then tie the belt around your waist.
4. Line up with your team.
5. Run with a person in your team if they have the ball.
6. Rip the tag off the other team if they have the ball.
7. Side step so the other team won't ripe your tag off.
8 Throw the ball to your team mate if the other team pulled your tag off.
9. If I had the ball I will run to other teams goal and score a try.
10. Take off the sticky belt and two tags when the game is finished.

1 In the playground:
I can show and act with tika, pono and aroha when I let other people join in my game, being nice by saying nice words to my friends.I will not hurt them, making sure that other children are fine.
2 In the classroom:
I show and act with tika , pono and aroha by listening to the teacher, not being mean to other people, not talking back to my teacher and not saying bad words.
3 At home :
I show tika, pono and aroha by being good to my mum and dad. I help mum water our flower garden, clean my room and the house.Also I obey my mother and father and respecting them.

Hop scotch.
L.I-W.A.L.T-to write instruction in order.
Success Criteria:I know I can do this when I write instruction in order how to play hop scotch.
Hopscotch
Steps on how to play hopscotch:
1. Line up with other people.
2. Throw a stone on any number square.
3. Hop on the number squares until you get closest to where the stone had landed.
4. Pick up the stone.
5. Jump over the number square where the stone was on.
6. Keep hopping on the number squares until you reach to the highest number.
7. Turn around.
8. Hop back to the start line.
9. Give the next person a chance to play.
