All about me

Talofa lava my name is Summer and I go to Saint Patrick’s school (in Panmure). My main culture is Kiwi, but I also identify as Samoan and I’m also Scottish, German and Chinese. I have 3 sisters, 1 little brother and 1 passed away brother/sister, I also have 2 cats (but 1 passed away :() and 2 dogs (1 also passed away:[ ).

My favourite subjects are art, music and reading. My favourite books are Tom Gates and Captain Underpants, but I like to read anything about space, cooking or animals. I am good at relaxing, making peace with others by being funny and also supporting my friends when they are doing something that’s not what others want. My challenge is to master cooking... especially deserts!

My goals this year in reading is to read more challenging and interesting books.
My goal this year in writing is to write more interesting words to hook my audience in.
My goal for maths this year is to complete harder and more complex math questions.

What I am looking forward to this year is to be successful with all of my my goals. The people who inspire me are my Mum, Dad, Aunty (Aunty Mene) and my grandparents. They all inspire me to keep on trying to cook, learn my Samoan language and to keep practising my drawing!

  2. Afternoon Summer,
I'm Sia and I attend St Pius X School as a year 8 student. We have a lot of things in common! My ethnicity is Samoan. I owned a dog, she sadly passed away. I also really love to read Tom Gates! It's the only series of books that attracts my attention! I like to read recipes too! I enjoy cooking for my family! Technology has influenced me more and so has my Dad and Sister. Your goals are very inspiring! I love how your focused on reading, writing, and maths! Well done!

    Blessed Weekend!
    Sia.
